Hello everyone and a happy new year! May this one be less bad™!

Globally, this year is not starting great. Though personally, I feel on track to accomplish my goals. It may be a few years into the future until they come to fruition, but that is what long term goals are about.

For one, I’m working on two book projects, each in a different genre. Flipping between them has been very refreshing and is helping my productivity. And for that matter, I don’t think I’ve gotten this far on a book project for quite a while. It flows together and they just feel good!

I’m also working on an art project with my partner in crime, working on commissions and doing some real job™ stuff as well. A looser goal is to complete one of my art projects, mainly the fakemon project just so I can call it done.

There is also the Mur zodiac! If you haven’t taken a look yet, you can find it here: http://dreamhowl.wikidot.com/mur-zodiac

This is a zodiac that popped up for one of those story projects, and has become a hit to a few of the people I tested it on. I have some more tweaks in mind, but I’d like to try to do a pin/charm run for each one for people to buy. Perhaps through kickstarter? There is still some groundwork I need to do for that yet. I’m also working on another smaller zodiac test run with a pal of mine just to get some of the logistics down while still provide neat items for folks.

For the 10/10/10 challenge, I’ve hit the ground via my face as I have somehow been drawn into a book that was not on that huge list. Darkness and Dawn by Andre Norton will be the first entry onto the list of shame.

I was challenged this year to change some of my bad thought habits in order to regain my footing from difficult trails in 2017 that struck me down. And I’m committed to turn things around and to really conquer the year. There is a special personal project that I’ve also been working on that has been helping me achieve this.

I think that maybe, just maybe, we may make this year a bit better. I hope you join me on this journey and that you too uncover your inner strength this year!

Stay awesome,
